How To Set Up A Smart Texting Number

  1. Click on “Settings” and go to “Software Setup”
  2. Click on “CRM & Site Apps” in the Front Office Tools table
  3. Click on “Telephony & SMS Settings”
  4. Click the blue “+Add Phone Number” button
  5. Enter the area code you would like to use in the text box under “Tracking phone area code” and click “Save”
Error Message: No numbers available in area code xxx. Please try again.

If you receive this error message, you must change the area code you entered to one with available numbers (possibly an overlaying code).

    1. The area code provider cannot request area codes. You would have to either wait for the area code to come available, or use an area code overlay for your area.
