Why You Can’t Edit/Delete Paid Invoices

For security purposes and for record keeping we do not have the option to edit a paid invoice. To offset the balance, you need to refund the customer. If you will be adding services, you need to create a new invoice for that.

Note: you can edit/delete invoices that are in drafts or are unpaid.

Note how the “Delete” option is unavailable on the paid invoice.
